The accessory boasts backlit keys, Bluetooth 5.0 and a "precision" touchpad to go with this official approval. It is described as having been made in partnership with Microsoft itself, and is thus the only third party keyboard dock certified as "Designed for Surface" by the Redmond giant. The Brydge 12.3 Pro+ fits the 4, 5/2017, 6/2018 or 7 generations of the device in question. This OEM also asserts that the third-party attachment is designed to match this series in terms of esthetics. Brydge claims that slotting one of these tablets into its 12.3 Pro+ accessory converts it into " a genuine laptop-like device".
